Alfie came all the way from Spain, unfortunately his original family couldn't look after him and he spent his first few years living on a balcony. However since being in our care, Alfie is now loving life with his big boxer brother and enjoying having mud baths

Ali

Ali is a gorgeous Boxer Cane Corso cross who started his life in Spain and came to live in Scotland via another rescue in late 2020. We were asked to help find him a new home which we did in early 2021 and he has been loving life in Aberdeenshire with his human brothers and dad.

Bella

Bella is a beautiful boxer cross who came into our care as she her original family weren't able to care for her. Bella has taken to her training really well and has taken things to the next level and is training to be an assistance dog for her mum. She's a lovely girl who is loving life in Perth and going on her holidays in the family camper van

Bess

Beautiful Bess came into our care in 2021 due to a change in family circumstances. Even though she was an older dog, she was still very puppy like. From the day she was adopted the love and care she had been shown through her whole life was continued and she gave her adopted family 6 wonderful months. Unfortunately Bess passed away in 2022 but will forever remembered as a beautiful bouncy boxer

Bessie has a typical boxer temperament - good with other dogs, children and wants to play when she can. She also loves cuddles and is responding well to her training.

Buster

Buster

Buster came into our care in 2021 as he was having issues with the other dogs in the home. Unfortunately by the time we got Buster, both his behavioural and medical needs were too far gone to help him on a long term basis. Buster was put to sleep in late 2021 and we just hope he is running free over the rainbow bridge without any stress or issues that impacted him when he was alive

The beautiful Chari had originally been rescued in Gran Canaria and was transported to a family in Wales. Unfortunately this wasn't the right environment for her, however since finding her forever home in Scotland as an only dog and no children, she has begun to thrive. She is still testing her Dad with her recall but she's a lovely happy girl now.

Cooper

Cooper was living with another dog that really didn't like him. He also isn;t great being left on his own and came into our care needing a cruciate ligament op. He's been nicknamed 'Cooper the Trouper' as he has now had both legs operated on for cruciate issues. However he is now thriving in his new adopted family and is beginning to live the life of a 2 year old

Coco

Coco is a heart warming girl. She came into our care at just under 7 years old. She loves going to the beach, playing with bubbles, bringing you her toys, and eating her favourite snack, toast. She has settled in very well and has stolen the hearts of her new family.

Dave

Dave started life as Dennis and made the long journey from Spain. He joined his family in Edinburgh in 2020, were he gained a sister Opal plus three human brothers. Dave and Opal are the very best of friends and go everywhere together. You landed on your feet Dave, ejnoy your life.

Diego

Boss was found on the streets in Spain and via another rescue, we brought him over to Scotland. He quickly had a name change to Diego and whilst living with Leishmania, he is loving life in East Lothian, destroying any balls that come into contact and enjoying fame as the local celebrity

The lovely Dotty came into our care due to a change in family circumstances and is loving life with her big boxer brother. She's still a very bouncy pup but is learning boundaries and loving her new home

Duke (Percy)

Young boy Duke, formerly Percy had come into our care as his family circumstances had changed and he was spending long periods on his own. He is now settled into his new family with someone around all day and the family are loving the opportunity to have a dog to go on long walks again.

Eric had been living with a couple of other dogs, but really didn't like to be left on his own, to the point that he was destroying anything in his way. Now that Eric has a family who are around all day, he has gotten rid of this habit and is learning how to not be so excited when he sees other dogs. He also doesn't believe in personal space!

Gypsy (Ruby)

Gypsy has had a rocky start to life, having originally been rescued as a small pup, the families circumstances changed and she was being left on her own. She's since found a home with someone around all the time and is a wonderful mix of bouncy, cheeky boxer who loves a cuddle and snuggle with her new family.

Harley from Scotland

Harley came to us as a pup as unfortunately her family couldn't cope with 2 young pups at once. From day one she's been a beautiful dog and is now being spoilt rotten with all the attention she deserves

Harley from Spain

Harley

Harley started her life living in Spain and was with a young family but unfortunately the family couldn't cope with a puppy as well. Luckily for Harley that a family in Scotland was ready and waiting to give her the time and attention she needed. Harley is loving life and made very good friends with the boxer living next door.

Kai

Our gentle giant, Kai, came into our care due to changes in the family home. This lovely old gent, has taken to being spoilt rotten and has someone with him all day which he was sorely missing. Those big eyes come out and he gets what he wants.

Lilo

Lilo

The lovely Lilo came into our care with her brother Stitch. Both had been living in a busy home but due to the family move, they were not able to go with them. She's an independent lady but does love cuddles and ensuring her big brother is OK.

Lomond

The lovely Lomond needed to find a new home due to a change in family circumstances. Hes a lovely boy who is loving his new life on the west coast and enjoying the beach and running havoc with the neighbours kids

Mack

Mack came into our care due to a change in family circumstances. Having lived with kids it was important for us to place him back with a family with children and we managed to find him the perfect match, even with the boxer standard trampoline. He is loving being part of family life again and is a lovely gentle young man

Memphis

Memphis was our first TBR boxer rescue. He lived with a young family with 3 kids. He was surrendered to us as he was not getting enough exercise and care he deserved. His new family adore him and he is such a handsome boy. The family are hopeful that Memphis will get a new brother or sister from TBR in the near future.

Nacho

Well what can we say about the very gorgeous Nacho! He is a big favourite at TBR, having come into our care as he wasn't getting on with the other dog in the house, suffice to say he has landed on his paws with his new family is an understatement. Still a bit puppy at heart (also convinced he thinks he is a cat), has been known to stand on the windowsill eyeing up everything that moves and also likes to open kitchen cupboards and help with the washing up. Big and beautiful, he is one of those boxers who will be a puppy well into old age

Purdy

Purdy

The lovely Purdy has seamlessly transitioned from living in a kennel, to taking charge of the sofa! Purdy has a gentle nature and gets on well with dogs and people, although still getting used to living in a busier environment so can still be a little timid. Her new favourite thing is walks on the beach with her new Dad.

Reggie

The lovely Reggie needed a new home due to a change in family circumstances which meant he wasn't getting enough focus on training and exercise. He had been around other dogs, so we looked to place Reggie into a family with an older dog to help continue his training. He has since gotten himself not only an older dog sister but an older human sister who are loving him being part of the family.

Roxy

Roxi is one of TBR's true jet setters. Starting her life in Spain, she was rehomed in Glasgow where she had an older boxer Simba to learn from, along with a human sister. She has since moved with her family to Canada where she continues to be a fantastic part of the family and she has a new human brother and loving playing with the neighbours dogs

Samurai

Sam

Samurai arrived from Portugal in late 2021, having been returned to his breeder after his owner no longer wanted him. Having a few issues with the breeders other male, we decided he needed to be the only dog in the home and he has since settled into a loving home where he is continuing his training and has made his space known on the sofa

Shadow

Shadow (Jopo)

Jopo, who quickly became Shadow needed a special home. Having started off life in Spain, he was a strong boy when he came into our care, wary of other dogs and hadn't been given much love, attention or training. He has found his forever home in the Montrose countryside where he has the free run of an enormous garden and was able to get used to be walking on the lead in very quiet surroundings and has certainly learned his manners. He has made himself very much at home but is still unsure of the required clothing to wear for Scottish weather.

Sira

Little Sira was rescued from a bad situation in Spain where she hadn't been looked after and has therefore now a number of medical issues. However her determination for life, focus on the next treat and love of being around her family has been amazing to watch. She is now one of 4 other boxers and often takes herself off for a nice quiet spot in the house, although she is still one of the loudest snorers in the house

This spritely 9 year old came into our care as her previous owner had passed away. She's loving her new life and being the centre of attention and has become quite the star at the local school.

The handsome Stitch came into our care with his little sister Lilo. Stitch needs to know where you and his sister are all the time, and will take every advantage to jump on the sofa for a cuddle

Thor

Thor

Thor lived with an elderly owner in Spain, however, he had to come into us as he was not getting the proper care and attention he desereved. He travelled from Spain and went to live in Dunfermline, where he soon become the enter of his families world. He had a few early issues such as food guarding and biting feet but the family work on these areas and he is now a loving, happy dog who rules the house!.

Winston

Winston (Tango)

Winston started lifein Spain as Tango and lived with his owner on a farm. His owner got a new job and had to find a home for Winston. He has leish. Winston now lived in Dumfries with his new mum and dad and he is our wee superstar. Winston (Tango then Hector!) became part of a children's book, written by Linda Erskine and has risen to fame! He is a stunning boy who lives his life to the full.

Womble

Womble

Womble or Lia as she used to be know was found on wasteland in a deserted house in Spain, with her brother Rocky. Her injuries were down to her trying to escape the chains that secured them and they were both very lucky to have been found in time. As a result Womble lost the sight in her right eye's and had to see a specialist consultant in Spain. Fast forward nearly two years and Womble has a beautiful home just outside of Edinburgh and has gained a human brother and two sisters. She has a strong character and loves walking the filed and hills near her home.
